Bran muffins
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/2 cup
- baking soda
- cup boiling water - 1 item
- cups buttermilk - 2 item
- 1/2 cups flour - 2 item
- orange peel - 1 tsp
- 1/2 cup raisins - 1 item
- cup Nabisco 100% Bran - 1 item
- cups Kelloggs Bran Buds or ALL Bran - 2 item
How to make bran muffins:
Pour water over the 100% Bran set aside, cream sugar and oil add eggs, sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add alternated with buttermilk to cream mix. Add bran buds, raisins, and orange peel. Set in refrigerator overnight. Mix well before using. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.This mix keeps very well in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
