Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- granulated sugar
- salt
- soda
- buttermilk - 2 c
- all-purpose flour
- raisins - 3/4 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- Nabisco 100% Bran - 1 c
How to make bran muffins:
Pour 1 cup boiling water over the All-Bran and set aside.Cream Crisco and sugar; add beaten egg, buttermilk and dry ingredients. Add All-Bran and raisins last. You can store in a gallon pickle jar tightly covered in refrigerator up to two months and bake as needed. Bake in muffin pans for 25 minutes at 400°.
