- flour - 1 c
- Crisco - 1 item
- pepper - 1 tsp
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- sliced carrot - 1 c
- rabbit - 1 (3
- Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master - 2 Tbsp
How to make braised rabbit:
Cut up rabbit; remove fat, wash and dry. Mix flour, salt and pepper and roll rabbit in mixture. Brown in Crisco. Place in baking dish. Cover with water and scrapings from browning pan. Add last 3 ingredients. Bake at 400° for 1/2 hour; turn down to 375° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.Recipe categories: Main dish, Wild game, Rabbit.
