Ingredients/Components
- softened butter - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chicken stock - 2 c
- head cabbage - 1 item
How to make braised cabbage:
Cut cabbage into pieces, removing tough inner core. In a covered pan, simmer cabbage in stock, about 20 minutes or until tender. Uncover and continue cooking until liquid boils away. Add butter, salt and pepper. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Side dish, Vegetables.
