Bourbon balls



  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • honey or light corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
  • unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped pecans or walnuts - 1 c
  • crushed vanilla wafers - 2 c
  • bourbon - 1/4 1/2
  • additional powdered sugar - 1 item

How to make bourbon balls:

Mix crushed wafers, sugar, pecans or walnuts, cocoa powder, honey and bourbon together until well blended. (Mixture should be moist but not soggy.) Roll dough by approximate teaspoonfuls into small balls. Roll balls in additional sugar. Store balls in tightly covered tins in a cool dry place. Makes about 5 dozen.
