Ingredients/Components

  • water - 4 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • onion, finely chopped - 1/2 c
  • clove garlic, finely chopped - 1 item
  • parsley, finely chopped - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • curry powder - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • whitefish fillet, cut in 2-inch pieces - 1 lb
  • frozen shrimp, shelled and cleaned - 12 oz
  • oysters - 1 pt

How to make bouillabaisse:

Place first nine ingredients in large pot; bring to boil and add remaining ingredients. Cook about 5 minutes. Do not overcook. Other shellfish like crab and clams may be added, if desired.
