Ingredients/Components
- flour
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/3 c
- sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- egg yolk - 1 item
- Gradually stir in milk until smooth and stir in egg yolk
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- boiling water - 2 Tbsp
How to make boston cream pie:
Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. In bowl with electric mixer, beat on medium speed the margarine and sugar. Add egg and beat 3 minutes, scraping often.
