Bok choy with oyster sauce



  • sugar - 1/4 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 1 tsp
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • oyster sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • bok choy, cut about 2-inches long with younger stalks - 1/2 lb

How to make bok choy with oyster sauce:

Boil water with sugar, salt, cornstarch and cooking oil, stirring until the sauce is a little thick. Add oyster sauce. Blanch bok choy. When it turns green, drain and put on a platter. Pour the sauce over the bok choy.
