Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • sliced almonds - 1 pkg
  • soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • rice vinegar
  • green onions, chopped - 5 item
  • sesame seeds - 2 Tbsp
  • crushed ramen noodles - 1 pkg
  • bunch bok choy, washed and chopped - 1 item

How to make bok choy salad:

Dressing:1/4 c. rice vinegar1/2 c. oil1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. soy sauce Prepare dressing ahead of time and refrigerate. Combine ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Let boil 1 minute and remove from heat.

In a medium skillet, add butter and heat. Add crushed ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds. Saut?© until lightly toasted. Stir constantly. Remove from pan and set aside.

Cut bok choy in about 1 inch pieces. Combine with green onion. Just before serving add noodle mixture and dressing to taste. Lightly toss.
