  • cinnamon
  • milk
  • butter or margarine
  • salt
  • flour
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg, unbeaten - 1 item
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • blueberries - 2 c
  • Cream butter; gradually put in sugar

How to make blueberry tea cake:

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter; gradually put in sugar. Add egg and milk; beat until smooth. Add dry ingredients; fold in blueberries. Spread batter in greased and floured 8-inch or 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with Crumb Topping. Bake in hot oven (375°) 40 to 45 minutes.Crumb Topping: c. sugar c. flour tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. butter Mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter to form crumbs.
