Blueberry streusel muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- butter or margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- fresh or frozen blueberries
How to make blueberry streusel muffins:
Streusel:1/2 c. sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. butter or margarine1/3 c. all-purpose flour In mixing bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Add egg; mix well. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in vanilla. Fold in blueberries. Fill 12 greased or paper lined cupcake muffins 2/3 full.In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown. Yields 1 dozen.
