- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- fresh blueberries - 2 c
- all-purpose flour, divided - 3 c
- sugar, divided
How to make blueberry pound cake:
Grease a 10-inch tube pan with 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle pan with 1/4 cup sugar; set aside. Cream remaining 1 cup butter, gradually add remaining 2 cups sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Combine 2 3/4 cups flour, baking powder, and salt; add gradually to creamed mixture, beating until well blended. Dredge blueberries in remaining 1/4 cup flour. Stir to coat well. Fold blueberries into mixture. Pour into prepared pan.
