Ingredients/Components
- blueberries, fresh or frozen - 4 c
- water - 2/3 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- 9-inch pie shell, baked - 1 item
- whipped cream - 1 item
How to make blueberry pie:
Boil 1 cup of blueberries in water for 3 minutes. Mix together sugar, cornstarch, 1/3 cup water, and salt and add to boiling blueberries. Cook until thick, add butter. Cool, and add 3 cups blueberries. Pour into a 9 inch baked pie shell. Chill, then serve with whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
