Blueberry gingerbread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 3 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- blueberries - 1 c
- sour milk - 1 c
How to make blueberry gingerbread:
Cream Crisco and sugar. Add egg and beat. Sift and measure flour. Add ginger, cinnamon, salt and soda. Add milk and molasses alternately with the flour. Add blueberries. Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch pan. Sprinkle top with 3 tablespoons sugar. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Breads.
