Blueberry crisp
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- cornstarch
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- margarine, melted - 1 stick
- fresh or frozen blueberries - 4 c
- grated lemon peel - 1/2 tsp
- Topping:1/2 box plain yellow cake mix
How to make blueberry crisp:
Topping:1/2 box plain yellow cake mix1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine, melted1/2 c. chopped pecans Add lemon juice to berries. Mix together dry ingredients and lemon peel. Put in a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top; drizzle with melted margarine and sprinkle with pecans. Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream. Good cold also.Note. Can use blueberry pie filling instead of fresh blueberry mixture.
