Blueberry cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 2
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- unsifted flour - 3 c
- margarine - 3/4 c
- blueberries - 2 c
How to make blueberry cake:
Lightly grease and flour a 10-inch tube panSift 3 cups flour with baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour and cinnamon. Mix well.
In a large bowl at medium speed, beat margarine, 1 1/2 cups of sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Pour 1/3 of batter into prepared pan. Spread evenly. Mix 2 cups blueberries with 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Sprinkle half of blueberries over batter. Repeat batter and blueberries one more time, ending with 1/3 cup batter. Bake in a 350° oven and bake for 60 minutes.
