Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • baking powder - 4 tsp
  • shortening - 2/3 c
  • floured blueberries

How to make blueberry cake:

Cream together shortening and sugar; add and mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir vigorously for 2 minutes, adding milk as you mix. Add eggs and mix for one minute. Add blueberries. Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 50 minutes.
