Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- 1/2 cups milk - 1 item
- cups sugar - 2/3 item
- tsp baking soda - 1/2 item
- cups flour - 4 item
- cups molasses - 2/3 item
- quart blueberries - 1 item
How to make blueberry biscuits:
Mix all ingredients together with electric mixer until smooth, reserving blueberries. You must fold in the blueberries by hand to avoid breaking them. Spoon onto cookie sheets 1/2 cup size pancakes. Leave plenty of space between, approx. 6 per pan. Bake 375 degrees 12-14 minutes. They are done when the middle springs back when touched.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, High calcium.
