Blonde brownies



  • eggs - 3 item
  • butter or margarine - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 lb
  • baking powder
  • chocolate chips - 6 oz
  • sifted flour

How to make blonde brownies:

Melt butter in a large pan (large enough to serve as a mixing bowl). Add brown sugar; mix and cool. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Fold in sifted dry ingredients, then nuts and chips. Spread in greased 10 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan. Bake 40 minutes at 325°.
