Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- ground red pepper - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- dried basil, crushed - 1 tsp
- dried thyme, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- ground sage - 1/4 tsp
- ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- ground white pepper - 1/2 tsp
- lemon slices, halved - 1 item
- ; 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick - 4 fresh
How to make blackened fish:
Thaw fish if frozen. In a shallow dish, combine onion powder, garlic salt, red pepper, basil, white pepper, thyme, black pepper and sage. Brush both sides of fish with some of the melted margarine. Coat both sides of fish with seasoning mixture. IRecipe categories: Main dish, Fish, Seafood.
