Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- cake flour - 2 c
- jars blackberry jam - 2 oz
How to make blackberry cake:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, beating well. Beat in dry ingredients that have been sifted together alternately with the milk. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch round pans and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely.
