Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- black walnut flavoring - 1 tsp
- chopped black walnuts - 1 c
- cream cheese at room temperature - 8 oz
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
- eggs beat well after each egg - 5 item
- Cream butter and Crisco until fluffy
How to make black walnut pound cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Cream butter and Crisco until fluffy. Add sugar and beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add sour cream, flour and baking powder. Alternate with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Bake forRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 4 hours.
