Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• cold water - 2 c
• oil - 12 Tbsp
• soda - 2 tsp
• cocoa - 6 Tbsp
• vinegar - 2 Tbsp
• Cool Whip - 2 (16
• Add all at once the oil, vinegar, water and vanilla

How to make black forest cake:

Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt in a bowl. Add all at once the oil, vinegar, water and vanilla. (Do not use metal to mix with or in.) Bake in large sheet cake pan at 350° for 40 minutes. Cool. Cut in half and put together with topping.Topping:2 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding2 (16 or 12 oz.) Cool Whip Mix together and top each layer and sides with mixture. Top with 1 can cherry pie filling.
