  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
  • pie crust mix - 1 pkg
  • tomato juice or water - 1 tsp

How to make black-eyed susans:

Mix and roll out and cut with a small biscuit cutter. Put a date into each and fold over. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
