Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 1/3 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • nuts, finely chopped - 1 item
  • Topping:1 egg

How to make black bottom cupcakes:

Topping:1 egg1/2 c. sugar1/2 tsp. salt1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese nuts, finely chopped Sift dry ingredients together; add water, vinegar, oil and vanilla. Make topping; mix cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.

Fill paper cups 1/3 full with batter. Top with 1 tablespoon (heaping) topping. Sprinkle finely chopped nuts (mixed with some sugar) on top. Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
