Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 C
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- nut meats - 1 C
- oz bottle maraschino cherries, cut in half, with juice - 8 item
How to make bishop bread:
Beat eggs well, add sugar slowly to eggs. Add cherries and juice, mix well. Add dry ingredients; fold in nut meats. Place in a loaf pan.Bake 15 minutes at 275 degrees, then 50 minutes at 300 degrees.
