Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- soft margarine - 1/2 c
How to make biscuits supreme:
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in margarine, using pastry blender, until consistency is like coarse crumbs. Add milk all at once. Stir with fork only until mixture follows fork around the bowl. Turn out onto lightly floured counter; knead 1/2 minute or about 10 to 12 times. With rolling pin, roll 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter or use a small glass. Bake on foil-lined ungreased cookie sheet at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, High calcium.
