Big soft ginger cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/4 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground ginger - 2 tsp
How to make big soft ginger cookies:
Mix all but 2 tablespoons sugar. Shape into balls of about 1 heaping tablespoon size. Roll in the 2 tablespoons sugar. Bake in a 350° oven about 10 minutes. (Do not overcook, just until puffed and light brown.) Makes 24 three-inch cookies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Spicy.
