Better than anything cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• can crushed pineapple - 1 item
• large carton Cool Whip - 1 item
• large box vanilla instant pudding - 1 item
• box yellow cake mix with pudding - 1 item

How to make better than anything cake:

Mix cake by directions on the box and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Before cake is done, bring pineapple and sugar to boil for 5 minutes.

When cake is done, spread pineapple and sugar mixture on the cake while both are hot. Cool completely.

Mix pudding according to box directions. Spread over cooled cake and top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and coconut, if desired.
