  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 5 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make best sugar cookies:

Cream sugars and butter. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Roll into small balls; press with glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle sugar generously on top. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
