Best ever potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- milk, divided - 3 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- dried parsley - 2 tsp
- carrots, chopped - 1 c
- red potatoes, peeled and cubed - 6 c
- cheese I like sharp Cheddar the best, but can use Velveeta - 3/4 lb
How to make best ever potato soup:
Place first 9 ingredients in pot and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Mix 1/4 cup milk with flour to make paste; stir into soup. Add remaining milk and cheese. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted. Do not boil.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
