Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- confectioners sugar - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- flour plus 2 Tbsp - 2 c
- fresh fruit topping optional - 1 item
How to make belgian waffles:
Combine all ingredients except egg whites. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter. Pour 1/2 cup measure into waffle iron. Bake about 2 minutes. Top with fruit or syrup. Makes 8 waffles.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Pancakes and waffles, Breakfast.
