Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • eggs, separated - 3 item
  • confectioners sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
  • flour plus 2 Tbsp - 2 c
  • fresh fruit topping optional - 1 item

How to make belgian waffles:

Combine all ingredients except egg whites. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter. Pour 1/2 cup measure into waffle iron. Bake about 2 minutes. Top with fruit or syrup. Makes 8 waffles.
