Belgian beef stew



  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
  • bottle beer - 1 oz
  • boneless beef chuck, etc - 3 lb

How to make belgian beef stew:

Cut beef into small cubes. Place flour in a plastic bag. Add beef cubes; toss until well coated. Heat butter over medium heat in a heavy pot. Add beef and brown well on all sides. After beef is browned, add beer and soup mix. Bring to a boil; lower heat to a simmer and cook. Cover until beef is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
