Beefy mexican lasagna

- shredded lettuce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- tomato, chopped - 1 item
- can whole tomatoes - 1 oz
- taco seasoning - 1 pkg
- can French fried onions - 1 item
- container cottage cheese - 1 (12
- 6-inch corn and flour tortillas - 12 item
How to make beefy mexican lasagna:
Brown beef; drain. Add canned tomatoes and taco seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in 1/2 can fried onions. In bowl, combine cottage cheese and 1 cup Cheddar cheese. Place 3 tortillas on bottom of 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Overlap 6 tortillas on sides of baking dish. Spoon meat mixture evenly. Top with 3 tortillas, then cheese mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions. Bake another 5 minutes.
