Beef teriyaki
Ingredients/Components
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- ginger - 3/4 1
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- Minute rice - 1 1
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- bouillon - 2 c
- cooking sherry - 2 Tbsp
- green and red pepper strips - 1 c
- beef chuck strips or lean hamburger - 1 lb
- touch of brown sugar - 1 item
How to make beef teriyaki:
Brown beef with onion and garlic in oil. Add ginger, pepper strips, bouillon, soy sauce, sherry and brown sugar (if desired). Bring to a full boil. Stir in rice. Cover; remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Stir before serving. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Main dish.
