Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- Worcestershire - 2 Tbsp
- can beef broth - 1 item
- noodles or rice - 1 item
- beef steak, cut in strips 3/4 x 2-inch - 1 1
How to make beef stroganoff:
Dredge meat in flour, salts and pepper. Reserve extra flour mixture. Brown meat in margarine; add onions and mushrooms. Cook until tender. Stir in reserved flour. Gradually add broth, Worcestershire and catsup. Bring to boil; add sour cream. Heat. Serve over noodles or rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
