Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 16 oz
- salt - 2 tsp
- oil - 1/4 C
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- thyme leaves - 1/2 tsp
- tsp pepper - 1/2 item
- Heinz 57 Sauce - 1/2 C
- water or beef broth - 1 C
- tenderloin or sirloin tips - 2 lbs
- onion, diced coarse - 1 lrg
- galic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic - 1/2 tsp
- Burgundy optional or water - 1/2 C
How to make beef stroganoff:
Saut?© beef tips in a skillet until browned. Add onions and mushrooms and saut?© another 5 minutes. Add water, salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic. Place in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until tender. Stir every 20 minutes. Add Heinz 57 Sauce and winRecipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
