Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
- tomato paste optional - 1 Tbsp
- water to cover - 1 item
- envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
- round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
How to make beef stroganoff:
Brown meat in oil. Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream, and simmer all about 1 1/2 hours, until tender. Before serving, add sour cream thickened with flour. Heat and serve over rice. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
