Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 2 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- fat - 2 Tbsp
- dash of oregano - 1 item
- carrots, sliced - 6 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- medium potatoes, cubed - 6 item
- Wondra flour - 1 item
- stew beef 1 1/2-inch pieces - 3 lb
How to make beef stew:
Brown meat in hot fat. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Add water, oregano, parsley, onion, carrots, potatoes, soy sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves. Cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour. Sprinkle in Wondra flour and stir until thickened.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
