Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- tapioca - 3 4
- green pepper, sliced - 1/2 item
- carrots, cut up - 5 item
- Lipton onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- stalks celery, cut up - 5 item
- potatoes, cut up - 5 item
- red cooking wine - 1/2 c
- small can drained mushrooms - 1 item
- onions, cut - 3 item
- browned stew meat
How to make beef stew:
Mix together wine, water and tapioca. Add other ingredients and put into heavy roaster with lid or 9 x 13-inch pan, covered with foil. Bake 5 hours at 250°. Do not peek while cooking!Note: Flour may be used in place of tapioca.
