- flour - 1/3 c
- water - 3 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp

How to make beef stew:
Cut stew meat into chunks and coat lightly with flour. Brown in heated oil. To drippings of oil, add garlic and onion. Cook until tender. Add remainder of flour. Add water, bouillon, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until slightly thickened. Add meat and heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 2 1/2 hours, until tender, stirring occasionally.Add potato chunks and carrots. Heat to boiling. Cook about 20 minutes. Add peas and cook about 5 to 10 minutes until all vegetables are tender.
