Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- carrots, peeled and sliced - 1 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- potatoes, peeled and diced - 6 item
- can peas with juice - 1 item
- stew meat, floured, seasoned and browned - 2 lb
- dab of water - 1 item
How to make beef stew:
After you have browned the stew meat, put in a pot and add potatoes, carrots and onions, with enough water to cover and cook until tender. Add peas with juice. Put cornstarch in a cup with salt and pepper; add just enough water to make a liquid. Pour into stew and cook until thickened.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
