Beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- dried thyme, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- sliced celery
- carrots, sliced
- medium potatoes, cubed - 2 item
- instant beef bouillon - 1 tsp
- V-8 juice - 3 c
- few dashes hot sauce - 1 item
- stew beef, cubed
How to make beef stew:
Coat meat with flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Brown meat in hot oil. Add onions, garlic and thyme. Stir in V-8 juice, bouillon, hot sauce and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil. Simmer 1 1/4 hours or until meat is tender. Add vegetables and simmer for 30 minutes more.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
