- salt
- hot water - 4 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- large potatoes - 2 item
- carrots - 2 item
- stalks celery - 2 item
- parsley
- medium onions - 2 item
- beef cubes - 1 lb
- medium leeks - 2 item
- large parsnip - 1 item
- oil, heated - 1 tsp
How to make beef soup:
First, chop all vegetables. Brown beef cubes in hot oil. Stir in leeks. Cover and cook on low heat about 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except parsley. Cover and simmer for 50 to 60 minutes. Add parsley. Add more hot water, if needed.Recipe categories: Low fat, Soups & stews, Stocks.
