Beef shish kabobs
Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- beef, cut unto 1 1/2-inch cubes - 2 lb
- large green pepper, cut into 1-inch squares - 1 item
- fresh, medium sized mushrooms - 1 item
- small onions - 1 item
- cherry tomatoes - 1 item
How to make beef shish kabobs:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Add beef cubes. Cover and refrigerate at least four hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.Spray skewers and grills with vegetable cooking spray. Insert skewers through meat, alternating with pepper, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes.
Grill, turning skewers occasionally so that all sides are evenly browned. Baste a few times with a marinade, while grilling.
