Beef noodle casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 2 c
- hamburger - 2 lb
- tomato sauce - 2 c
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 2 c
- creamed cottage cheese - 2 c
How to make beef noodle casserole:
Cook noodles and drain. Meanwhile, brown meat in butter. Add salt, pepper, garlic and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. In bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and noodles.Using a 3-quart casserole, alternate layers with noodle mixture first, then a layer of meat and ending with meat on top. Top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
