Beef noodle bake
Ingredients/Components
- 8 oz - 4 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 2 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- Velveeta cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
How to make beef noodle bake:
Brown meat; drain. Add tomato sauce, onion and green pepper. Mix well. Cover; simmer 5 minutes. Layer noodles, process cheese spread and meat mixture in a 1 1/2-quart casserole; cover. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Top with additional cheese, if desired. Makes 6 servings.Variation: Substitute 2 cups (7 ounces) elbow macaroni, cooked and drained for 4 cups noodles.
