How to make beef casserole:
Begin cooking enough noodles to cover the bottom of the baking dish. In a skillet, brown the beef, then add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, garlic and sugar. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Mix the cream cheese, sour cream and onions. In a greased baking dish, layer the noodles, meat sauce, sour cream mixture and top with grated cheese.
