Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cold water - 1 qt
- celery, chopped
- carrots, chopped - 1/2 c
- boneless beef, all fat removed and cut into small cubes - 1 lb
- leeks, chopped white part only - 1 c
How to make beef broth:
Place all ingredients in 3-quart pot and bring to a boil. Partly cover pan and simmer for 1 hour. Strain. Chill and remove fat.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Beef, Stocks.
