- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 5 item
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item

How to make beef barbecue:
In large Dutch oven, sear meat on all sides over high heat. Reduce heat. Add water to cover meat. Add onion and garlic. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer, covered, for 2 hours. Remove meat and reserve pan juices.Preheat oven to 250°. Return brisket to pot. Mix barbecue sauce with remaining ingredients; pour over brisket.
Cover and bake for 4 hours. Place reserved pan juices in a saucepan; reduce to 1/3 volume over medium-high heat. Set aside and keep warm. Remove brisket from pot; let stand 15 minutes before slicing. Pour reduced pan juices over sliced brisket and serve. Serves 6 to 8.
